Ingredients for Cooking Chicken Casseroles

Cooking chicken casseroles:

Step 1: prepare the chicken fillet.

If it is frozen, remove the chicken from the packaging and place in a pan with cold water. Thus, it is defrosted for at least 30 minutes. If the meat is fresh, then we wash it under running water and cut it into small cubes, about 1x1 cm, on a cutting board. Do the frozen fillet the same way as it unfreezes.

Step 2: prepare the vegetables.

Peel and wash the potatoes. Then, cut the potato in half lengthwise and cut each half into thin half rings. We perform such an operation with all the potatoes. Peel the carrots under running water, peel them and three on a coarse grater. You can, in principle, cut into strips, but on a grater faster. Peel the onion, rinse under running water and cut into thin rings. The procedure is rather unpleasant, but the result is worth it. Grate cheese on a medium grater. Everything, with the preparation of the ingredients, we are done. Go to the next step.

Step 3: fry vegetables and meat.

We put the pan on the fire, pour a little vegetable oil into it and when it warms up - put chopped onion in it. Fry it until golden brown (3-4 minutes), then add carrot to it. Fry with carrots for another 3 minutes, then add chicken fillet to the company of onions and carrots. Fry for another 4 minutes and remove from heat.

Step 4: bake the casserole.

Turn on the oven, warm it up to 200 degrees. Pour vegetable oil onto a baking sheet, spread it with a brush over the entire surface of the baking sheet and put it in the oven for 2 minutes. Then we take it out of the oven and put the ingredients on it. First, put half the chopped potatoes on the bottom. It is important that he covers the entire bottom of the pan. Then, on top of the potatoes, half the chicken fillet with carrots and onions, then the remaining half of the potatoes and everything else on top that remains in the pan. Gently coat all this with mayonnaise (you can use the same brush) and sprinkle with grated cheese. We send the pan to the oven to the lower or middle level, where we bake the dish at 200 degrees for about 1 hour.

Step 5: serve to the table.

As soon as the casserole is ready, remove the baking sheet from the oven and cut into portioned pieces. Spread the servings on plates with a spatula and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Instead of an oven, you can use a conventional oven.

- - in the case when the casserole begins to burn from above - cover it with food foil and put it in the oven again.

- - The best cheese for baking is parmesan, but any other hard variety will do.
