Today I propose the recipe for the strips of pomegranate chicken, a simple and tasty second course to bring to the table. How to make pomegranate chicken strips

Start shelling the pomegranates.
Set aside half of the grains recovered and use a mixer to get the juice from the remaining grains. Then filter with a colander.

Cut the chicken slices into strips of about 1 cm and dip them in a small bowl with the pomegranate juice.
Cover with plastic wrap and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Now drain the meat, pass the chicken strips in a bowl with flour and salt.

Put the butter and garlic in a non-stick pan and when the butter is melted add the chicken.
Sear on a high flame for about 3-4 minutes.

Once the flame has gone out, you can add the pomegranate seeds kept aside and mix.

Serve your pomegranate chicken strips on a bed of salad.

Chicken strips with pomegranate. Do you know that I have recently discovered pomegranate? Many times I have received it as a gift and I have made it rot or I have, in turn, given it as a gift. Then one day it aroused my interest and I started using it in the kitchen. I have to say it's really good. My favorite recipe, which sees him as the protagonist, is the one that I present to you now and, if you taste it, you will understand why. The chicken strips with pomegranate are really delicious and light, even my children love them. Moreover, pomegranate is also good for the figure, as it is free of fat and low in calories, and is rich in vitamin C. Chicken strips with pomegranate

Ingredients for 6 people:

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and place in a bowl. Cut the two ends of the pomegranate, open it and shell the grains, being careful to remove the white inner skin, which is very bitter.

Keep one third of the beans aside for the final decoration and mash the rest with a potato masher. Filter the juice through a colander and use it to sprinkle the meat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate the meat for an hour in the refrigerator.

After the necessary time, drain the strips without throwing the marinade juice and pass them in the flour.

Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. When it is hot, cook the strips on high heat for a few minutes, lower the heat slightly, sprinkle with the pomegranate juice and let it evaporate. Turn off the heat and add the beans you have kept aside.

Serve this dish on a bed of fresh salad. If you wish, you can also add some walnuts or, if you prefer a more exotic taste, some cubed pineapple and serve immediately.

Claudia & amp Andre's recipes

  • 800 g slices of real veal
  • 3-4 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150 ml white wine
  • salt, pepper, oil
  • 2 sprigs of sage
  • 1 sprig of rosemary

Cut the real slices into irregular strips. Peel the onions, the more the better, they give a good taste and cut them into slices. Also peel the garlic and cut into small pieces. In a large pan put a few tablespoons of oil and add the onion. Cook for about 2 minutes, add the strips, garlic and brown together for about 10 minutes. Deglaze with the wine and allow to evaporate slowly, covering the pan. Add the herbs, salt and pepper, a glass of water and always cook over low heat with the lid on. In all, the meat must cook at least 1 hour and a half, so that you will get a good result, at least we like it that way. Serve hot alone or in the company of some other vegetables, but it is also good in the company of a boiled risotto, better if it is basmati, a mashed potatoes or whatever you like!

Naty's Sweet Recipes

Ingredients: 1 chicken, 1 pack of coarse salt, salt, rosemary, sage, bay leaf, oregano, parsley, juniper, basil, marjoram, olive oil, 5 potatoes.

Procedure: peel and cut the potatoes into pieces (neither too small nor too big), pour them into a pan with olive oil, sprinkle with all the chopped spices and bake in the meantime.
Meanwhile, in another pan, pour a little oil, lay the chicken (either whole or in pieces) completely cover with the coarse salt and the chopped spices. Also bake the chicken, all at 200 & # 8226 for half an hour, often keeping under control that the potatoes do not burn, (to my taste, I cooked the potatoes so as not to brown them, but keeping a soft consistency)!
Potatoes have a slightly shorter cooking time than chicken, so I recommend that you observe them often and, if necessary, take them out of the oven first, in the meantime continue cooking the chicken, so that the skin becomes crunchy.
