Banana Chocolate Muffins


Ingredients for Making Banana Chocolate Muffins

  1. Flour 225 grams

  4. 2 eggs

Making banana chocolate muffins:

Step 1: prepare the bananas.


Peel the bananas and put them on a plate.

We arm ourselves with a fork or a potato masher and note the mashed banana pulp.

Step 2: prepare the eggs.


We wash the eggs under hot running water and break them into a separate plate. Pour sugar and vegetable oil, whisk with a whisk until smooth. Then pour in the banana puree and mix thoroughly with a tablespoon.

Step 3: prepare the dough.


Next, pour the necessary amount of flour, cocoa and soda into a sieve. Sift into a wide convenient bowl and mix. Sifting is necessary in order to get rid of lumps, and also enrich everything with oxygen, because this way the baking will turn out even more airy and tender.

So, pour the sweet banana mass to the flour and a whisk or thoroughly beat everything with a mixer. The batter should be uniform in color and without lumps.

Step 4: form the muffins.


Carefully coat the baking dish with butter or vegetable oil or, as in our case, lay out paper molds. Then spread the cooked dough with a tablespoon, filling the molds by about 2/3, because our dough will rise a little. And you can move on to baking.

Step 5: bake the muffins.


Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and only after that, set the form in the oven. Bake muffins until fully cooked for 15 to 20 minutes. During this time they should rise and be covered with a beautiful crust. And readiness can be checked with a toothpick, skewer or fork. If, when sticking a skewer, a trace of raw dough will remain on it, then the baking is not ready yet, and if it is dry, then boldly turn off the oven and get out the mold, helping ourselves with kitchen tacks.

Muffins leave for 10 - 15 minutes to cool to room temperature.

Step 6: serve banana-chocolate muffins.


Cooled banana-chocolate muffins can be served in paper molds or without them, but certainly on a beautiful tray or a wide dish. You can decorate the dessert with powdered sugar or a gentle cream, in any case, the cupcakes are incredibly fragrant and very tasty. And as a drink, let’s get some hot chocolate, tea or milk.

Recipe Tips:

- To give greater aroma, the dough can be supplemented with ground cinnamon, grated nutmeg, or vanilla extract.

- For this recipe, it is best to use ripe, soft bananas.

- Soda can be replaced with baking powder.

- If you want soft pieces of chocolate to come into baking, add chocolate drops or chocolate slices to the dough.

- You can make banana puree using a blender.
