Cooking carrot casseroles:

Step 1: prepare the carrots.

First, under running water, we wash the carrots from various contaminants, then using a knife for peeling vegetables or ordinary, remove the peel. If you use young carrots, you can peel the peel with either a tablespoon or the blunt side of a knife. Then we shift the vegetables to a cutting board and cut across into several parts, thick about 3 centimeters. Shred the carrots to the pan.

Step 2: boil the carrots.

Turn on the temperature of the stove to a medium level and put the pan with carrots on the burner. Fill it completely with water and wait for it to boil. After boil the carrots for 25-30 minutes. During this time, it should completely boil and become very soft. And only after that we turn off the fire and drain the water. The most convenient way would be to use a colander or cover the pan with a lid, leave a small gap and drain water through it.

Step 3: prepare the mashed potatoes.

Next, we transfer the hot carrots to a separate plate or bowl and armed with a pusher, knead the carrot slices to a puree state. Pay special attention to this step, as large dodges should not come across in the dough.

Step 4: prepare the flour.

Now it is necessary to sift the flour in order to make the dough softer and airier, and also get rid of flour lumps and impurities. Set a sieve over a clean plate and sift the right amount of ingredient.

Step 5: prepare the dough.

Then we wash the eggs under hot running water and break them into a separate container. Add two types of sugar to them, vegetable oil and mix with each other using a tablespoon. Next, we introduce this mass into carrot puree, again we mix everything well with a tablespoon. After that, constantly stirring, add flour and baking powder. We finally mix all the components to a homogeneous test consistency.

Step 6: bake a carrot casserole.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. The baking dish can be sprinkled with semolina or covered with baking paper, or use a non-stick container. In any case, pour the dough into a mold and set it in a preheated oven. Bake for 50 minutes until cooked. This can be determined using a toothpick. If it remains clean, after entering the center of the casserole, then the dish is ready. If not, then bake for another 5 to 10 minutes. As soon as the baking is fully cooked, turn off the oven and take out the form using tacks.

Step 7: serve the carrot casserole.

The casserole is served at room temperature along with aromatic tea, compote or a glass of warm milk. As a decoration, you can use powdered sugar or sour cream mixed with sugar. Delicious carrot casserole for breakfast, lunch or dinner is ready for tasting! Enjoy your meal!
