Cooking potatoes "Tale for the beloved":

Step 1: prepare the potatoes.

Peel the potatoes with a kitchen knife and peel the ingredient under running water. Then we shift the vegetable to a cutting board. Using the same sharp inventory, cut the potatoes lengthwise into two halves. After, cut each half across into thin plates, thick no more than 4-6 millimeters and transfer to a free bowl.

Step 2: prepare the onion.

Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse it under running water. Then we spread our ingredient on a cutting board and, using the same sharp inventory, cut the vegetable in half rings. Spread the onion half rings in a free plate.

Step 3: prepare the garlic.

So, put the cloves of garlic on a chopping board and, slightly pressing the handle of the knife on the ingredient, remove the husk from it. Then, with the help of the garlic mill, grind the cloves of garlic and transfer to a clean plate.

Step 4: prepare the ginger.

Freshly ginger root is well washed under running water. Then, using the inside of a teaspoon, we scrape the peel from our ingredient. Since the root crop has an uneven texture, so I do not recommend cleaning it with a knife or a peeler, as this will generate a lot of waste. Then, using a fine grater, rub ginger and transfer to a free plate.

Step 5: prepare the nutmeg.

We wash the nutmeg under running water and wipe it dry with a paper towel. Then, without removing the peel from our ingredient, rub it on a fine grater and transfer to a free saucer.

Step 6: prepare the potato "Tale for the beloved."

Put the butter in the pan and put the bowl on medium heat. After the butter has melted, make the fire less than average. Using a tablespoon, transfer half the onion rings to the pan, and constantly stir the vegetable ingredient with a wooden spatula, simmer it for 5-10 minutes. Attention: onions do not need to be fried until golden brown; just extinguish it until soft. After the allotted time, we transfer the chopped garlic into the same container and fry it for half a minute. Then pour cream, milk and sour cream to the vegetable ingredients in the pan. Mixing all the ingredients well, bring them to a boil. Then immediately add thin plates of potatoes to the resulting mixture and simmer everything over low heat for another 5-10 minutes without covering the container. Then we turn off the burner and add nutmeg, ginger, black and red ground pepper, paprika to the vegetable stew and slightly salt everything to taste. Attention: usually nutmeg is added to taste, but for the preparation of this dish I recommend adding this spice no more than 3/4 teaspoon. Using a tablespoon, mix everything well until smooth. Then, bake the baking dish with a culinary brush evenly with a small amount of vegetable oil. Using a tablespoon, transfer the potatoes with the sauce to the baking sheet and evenly distribute the mass over the entire surface of the container with the same thickness layer. Preheated oven to temperature 180 ° C using kitchen potholders we put the form with our dish and bake it for 25-30 minutes. After we turn off the oven and let the potatoes stand in the oven for another 7-10 minutesso that it is well soaked in sauce.
