Ingredients for making a quick salad "Dniester"

Cooking salad in haste "Dniester":

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

Although this type of salad can be cooked in 25 minutes, you can slightly reduce its cooking time by putting all the necessary ingredients on the kitchen table. Then take mayonnaise and use a pair of scissors to cut the tip off the packaging. Open the can of peas using a canned wrench and holding the lid so that there is a small gap, drain the marinade from the can, you won’t need it. Now take care of white cabbage, if it has damaged dark and rotten leaves, remove them. Rinse the vegetable under running water, dry it with paper kitchen towels, lay it on a cutting board and, using a knife, chop the straws with an approximate thickness of up to 5 millimeters. Transfer the slices into a deep bowl. Season the cabbage with salt and squeeze it out by hand until the vegetable is softer and starts to juice. Set the bowl of cabbage aside and let it soak in salt for 10 to 12 minutes. While the cabbage settles, take up the sausage. For this type of salad, 3 types of sausage are more often used, these are raw smoked, ham or Krakow smoked sausage. Therefore, using 1 of these three options, you will not be mistaken, and your salad will turn out well. Remove the cling film from the sausage, place it on a cutting board and cut into strips up to 7 - 8 millimeters thick.

Step 2: mix the ingredients.

After the cabbage has settled and let the juice in, add chopped sausage to it. Then canned peas. And the last, but not unimportant ingredient, is mayonnaise. Mix the ingredients with a tablespoon until smooth, do it carefully since canned peas are quite soft compared to all other products, and may crumple during mixing. Try the salad to taste and add salt if necessary. Then transfer your dish to a salad bowl and enjoy a fragrant and very tasty salad.

The Dniester whip up salad is served by the temperature room. You can serve it before the main course for lunch or as a main course during lunch.
