Cooking tuna baked in the oven:

Step 1: Cut the fish.

Often, whole fresh or frozen fish these days is sold without scales. But in some cases, additional cleaning is necessary or complete. How to do it: initially it is necessary to defrost (if the fish is frozen) and rinse the carcass. Next, prepare the workspace, as cleaning fish from scales - the work is pretty dirty. In a word, choose the option most suitable for you. For cleaning, we need a knife or a special fish scaler. Take a napkin in your left hand and grab the fish tail very tightly with it. This is necessary so that the fish does not slip out of your fingers. This must be done quite energetically, repeating the action several times in the same place in order to remove the scales completely. Next, turn the tuna on the other side and repeat the procedure. With a sharp knife, carefully cut the belly of the carcass and remove all the insides, remove the gills, cut the fins. After we rinse the carcass inside and out.

Step 2: Cook the fish for baking.

Initially, a little discussion of tuna with paper towels. Next, prepare the fish sauce. To do this, peel the garlic, rinse in water and squeeze it using a special press. I also dill in running water, after which we chop finely, leaving several branches untouched to decorate the finished dish. In a deep plate, mix mayonnaise with sour cream, add garlic and herbs to the mass, then carefully mix the resulting sauce. Expand and cut a piece of foil, three times the size of the carcass of a fish. Rub tuna on all sides with a mixture of salt and pepper, and then generously coat with sauce. We lay the carcass on the foil and tightly wrap. In this form leave the fish for 20 minutes. During this time, it is well saturated and prepared for heat treatment.

Step 3: Bake the tuna in the oven.

Meanwhile, heat the oven to a temperature 160 degrees. At the end of the set time, put the fish in foil on a baking sheet and send it to the oven for 40-50 minutes. If you like a browned crust, then 5-10 minutes before turning off the fire, unfold the foil and bake the tuna in the clear. In this case, the fish will turn brown and get a crisp.

Step 4: Serve the baked tuna in the oven.

Cool the finished tuna, then remove it from the foil, sprinkle with lemon juice and lay on a large dish. We decorate the fish with lemon slices, dill sprigs and delicately chopped vegetables (any that are in your kitchen). You can immediately cut the fish into portions, or you can do it directly during the feast, while allowing you to enjoy your close appetizing appearance of the dish. Bon appetit to all!

- - To enrich the taste and aroma of fish in the sauce, you can add dry mixes of your favorite seasonings. In addition, you can add curry, paprika, thyme and other dried herbs. A teaspoon of mustard, added to the sauce, will give a special piquancy to the finished dish. But do not overdo it with spices, use one or only a few types, since a very spicy dish can cause rejection.
