Ingredients for the preparation of salad "Snake":

  1. Canned pink salmon 1 can
  2. Cream cheese 3 pieces
  3. Potato 3 pieces
  4. 2 eggs
  5. Pickles 3 pieces
  6. Mayonnaise (preferably fatty) 150 ml
  7. Garlic 1 clove

To decorate:

  1. Red bell pepper 1 piece
  2. Prunes or black olives 1 piece

Cooking Snake Salad:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

Open canned pink salmon with a can opener, then carefully drain the brine. Put the fish pulp on a plate and mash it well with a fork. Grate processed cheese on a coarse grater. Rinse the potatoes well under cold running water, then place in a pan, fill with water and set to boil until cooked. Then cool, peel and wormholes and rub coarse grater. Hard-boiled eggs, peel and grate on a coarse grater.

Step 2: Form a Salad.

Peel the garlic and pass through the garlic press. Now mix all the prepared salad ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well. Add mayonnaise, lightly salt and mix well again. Gently lay the resulting mass on a tray in the form of a snake.

Step 3: Decorate the salad.

Cut pickles. Gently and beautifully lay out snake scales from them, as shown in the picture. Cut out the snake tongue from red bell pepper, and the eyes from prunes or black olives. Put the salad tray in the fridge, at least an hourso that it cools and soaks well.

Step 4: Serve the Snake Salad.

Serve the salad to the family or festive table cold. Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- - Snake eyes can also be made from canned cherries if you don’t have either prunes or olives at hand.

- - Check the potato readiness with a knife, pierce it with a vegetable blade, and if it passes easily, then the potato is ready.

- - In order for the eggs to be boiled hard-boiled, they need to be cooked for at least 8 minutes. To prevent the shell from breaking during cooking, add a spoonful of salt to the water.
